Numatic International Ltd., renowned for their commitment to environmental sustainability, has recently enhanced their operations in Somerset with the installation of a new paper baler. Affectionately named Barry the Baler, this machine is a refurbished semi automatic horizontal baler designed for high-volume processing of recyclable materials โ waste streams that this client wanted to take control of and become leaders of sustainable growth in their industry.
Barry the Baler boasts a 65-tonne press force, enabling him to produce dense bales weighing between 600kg and 800kg. His large feed aperture and efficient full-stroke / full-eject ram make him ideal for handling significant volumes of paper waste, which will be recycled into new packaging materials after we at Compact & Bale facilitate the transport to recycling facilities and save Numatic International money that would otherwise be spent on multiple skip pick-ups.
Prior to deployment, Barry underwent a comprehensive refurbishment at Compact & Baleโs facility in Tonbridge, Kent. After a thorough examination and makeover, Barry was deemed ready to commence his new role in the countryside.
The team at Compact & Bale extends their best wishes to Barry and Numatic International, in the confidence that this addition will contribute significantly to their recycling efforts and environmental initiatives.
